Sedum Master Incorporated again hosted again “Sedum Green Roof Experience 2” on July 12, 2013, at their country headquarters. This information filled day was a great success as clients and potential customers got a first-hand view of Sedum Master’s tried and tested sedum products, along with an introduction to some new products coming in 2014. The focus for this event was “Maintenance”; how to keep your green roof thriving.

With such an array of professionals under one barn roof, the Question and Answer Period was quite enlightening, and was further enhanced with a built-up demonstration of a sedum panel green roof.

TJ Daniels' presentation touched on the importance of maintaining your green roof, and how to correct common problems that can happen to green roofs if no maintenance plan is put in place. Maintenance topics included things such as weeding, irrigating, touch ups needed due to damage from birds, small critters, fallen debris etc. When one is opting for a green roof, a Maintenance Plan needs to be put in place to keep that green roof lush and green for many years to come.
